Taking books and DVDs
In the VCO libraries, you’ll
find over 200,000 books, 30,000 children books and 20,000 DVDs, all
available for free loans.

How many books can I
borrow?
You can borrow between 3 and 7 items, depending on
the library.
Books can be borrowed for 30 days, while DVDs for
15 days.
What if I still haven’t finished a book?
If
you haven’t finished reading a book, you can contact the library:
if no one has requested it in the meantime, you can keep it a little
bit longer.
What if I can’t find what I’m looking
for in the catalogue?
You can suggest a purchase by writing
to prestito.verbania@bibliotechevco.it:
if your suggestions can be useful to other people too, we will
purchase the book and let you know as soon as it is available.
Or
you can use our inter-library lending service: we will request the
book you need to another Italian or foreign library. For more info,
